PALINDROME
Palindrome is a kind of word-play. It is interesting sometimes words, group of words, sentences, and numbers read the same backward or forward. Palindrome is a Greek word.
Palin means 'again' and drome means 'running'. So palindromes are those that run again in either direction, backward or forward.

Some of the words which are palindrome are :
radar, civic, level, rotator, kayak, reviver, redder, racecar

The following sentences are interesting palindromes:
Madam, I'm Adam.
Madam in Edna, I'm Adam.
Able was I ere I saw elba. ('ere' means before)
Rise to vote, Sir.
So many dynamos.
Do geese see God.
A nut for a jar of tuna.
Dennis and Edna sinned.
Ana nab a banana.
Borrow or rob.
Never odd or even.
Mruder for a jar of red rum.
Are we not drawn onward, we few, drawn onward to new era.

Sometimes names can also be palindromes.
Lon Nol, former Prime Minister of Cambodia
Nisio Isnin, Japanese novelist
Robert Trebor, an English actor

Dates can also be palindromic.
November 30, 2003, written as 30/11/03
The next interesting palindromic date will be January 11. 2010 written as 01/11/10

Mathematical numbers and multiplication palindromes are part of recreational mathematics. Look at the following intereasting multiplications. And all are palindromic.
12x42=24x21: 12x63=63x21; 12x84=48x21; 13x62=26x31; 23x96=69x32; 24x62=36x42;
24x84=48x42; 26x93=39x62; 36x84=48x63; 46x96=69x64; 14x82=28x41; 23x64x=46x32;
34x86=68x34; 13x93=39x31

Look at the following additions:
123789+561945+642864 = 242868+323787+761943
Take away the two central numbers from each set, and you will get the same result.
1289+5645+6464 = 2468+3287+7643
Again take away the two central numbers from each set, and you get the same result.
19+55+64 = 28+37+73
Is it not amazing! You can squareevery number above, and they all remain true.
